Breaking boundaries with Bethany Woodward

International Paralympic medallist Bethany Woodward will give an inspirational lecture at York St John University on Friday 5 December.

The athlete has been invited as part of the University’s programme of events to mark Disability Week which is linked to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December.

Bethany competes for Great Britain in the 200m, 400m and long jump. She won gold in the T37 400m at the IPC World Championships in New Zealand in 2011 and silver in the T37 200m at the London Paralympics in 2012.

Her presentation will look at breaking boundaries and creating opportunities as well as the Paralympic legacy.
